The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheater ready to rock and roll with spectators this summer

All of this year’s restrictions on the Amplifier are unrelated to COVID-19

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Summer is almost here and a lot of things are opening up including concerts.

Concerts are one of our favorite ways to pass the time in the summer. They will be back here in Youngstown but there will be some restrictions.

The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheater follows COVID-19 guidelines issued by the city, but these are subject to change as more people get vaccinated. However, not all of the restrictions are related to COVID-19.

“Some rules outside, like no umbrellas and things like that, you have to remind people of which. We will send this information to all ticket buyers, so be sure to give us time to check everyone at the gate and once inside you’re good to go, ”said Phoebe Breckenridge, Marketing Manager by JAC Management Group and JAC Live.

After a long year for everyone, a lot of people are excited to have events like comeback concerts.

The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheater has announced its first major national show of the season with Alice Cooper, and more are on the way. Breckenridge says they’ve had a lot of big names here and they’re happy to bring more of them.

“We had Brett Eldredge, we had Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, the late Michael Stanley joined Donnie Iris, along with the Ohio players and a bunch of other local artists that people love. . The Vindys came here, a few more like that. So we hope to maintain the same caliber of entertainment this year, ”said Breckenridge.

With the lifting of capacity restrictions, they hope for full rooms!

“We can’t say enough to get people downtown. It brings people to our facilities, it brings people to restaurants, it brings people to hotels there. We are very happy to see our spectators flooding the city this season, ”said Breckenridge.
