“The Rock can get it too,” says Roman Reigns hints at a possible match with Dwayne Johnson after the show at London’s O2 Arena.

“The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns implies he’s ready for “The Brahma Bull” The Rock for Wrestlemania 39.

Roman Reigns recently dropped a hint in a message to The Rock. Speculation surrounding the dream match between The Rock and his real-life cousin Roman Reigns could come to fruition at Wrestlemania 39.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns had an interesting message for The Rock at London’s O2 Arena. After successfully defending the titles against Drew Mcintyre, Roman decided to chat with fans off the air. Surprisingly, Roman let out the “babyface” persona he hides behind the intense persona of “The Tribal Chief” and wished the fans well.

During his moment in the ring with the microphone, a fan asked “And The Rock?”

Roman replied emphatically, “The Rock can get it too.”

The crowd went wild at Roman’s response.

The dream match between the brothers at Wrestlemania 39

Roman Reigns is currently at the top of WWE’s food chain. His step to become a hooker in 2020 has brought him a lot of success. The head of the table accomplished a lot in his prime. From conquering big names in the industry like The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Edge and Kane, to winning championship titles, intense promotions and more, The Chief has cemented his legacy in WWE as a king of the hill. At this point in his career, Roman seems invincible. However, there is one name that can change things for Roman for better or for worse, “The Great One”. The Rock may be the only mountain Reigns has left to climb to cement his supremacy.

According to sources, there is speculation that the pair could grace fans with their presence, facing off at Wrestlemania 39. Overcoming The Rock will give the leader bragging rights.

Journalist Dave Melter reported:

“The belief is that Rock wants to do it. They believe that’s probably the main event, but they’re all very aware that there are things that might get in the way and that might not happen, but the working idea is Roman Reigns vs. Rock for LA But, it’s not set in stone by ANY means. This has been the plan for months and months and months, and nothing has changed. They are of the opinion that he will not back down and that he really wants to because time is running out for him.

Although the match isn’t “set in stone” yet, WWE still had their eye on this dream match. The plan may come to fruition if there are no roadblocks in the way of the Wrestlemania 39 route.

After all that, we know what’s in it for Roman, but what’s in it for The Rock? Is The Rock looking for another reign as undisputed WWE Champion?

Guess we all have to watch this space!
