His last album, ON A (self-released, March 2020), which earned her two Grammy® nominations (Best Vocal Jazz Album and Best Instrumental Jazz Solo for Regina Carter’s performance), is Alexa’s focus, her mission statement. The album speaks to us musically about all facets of femininity, conveying a message of strength and empowerment.
