Rhythm in the Rock announces weekend concerts in June | KLRT

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A family music and food festival called “Rhythm in the Rock” will take place every Sunday afternoon in June.

The events will take place between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on June 6, 13, 20 and 27 in the outdoor space of 1415 Ouest 17e Street in downtown Little Rock. There will be no charge to attend each event.

Each week a different musical act will perform with a rotating variety of food trucks at your fingertips.

There will also be activities for children and various nonprofits will be on hand to raise awareness of their individual causes.

Musical acts include:

June 6: Amy LaVere + Will Sexton, Richie Johnson

June 13: John Paul Keith

June 20: Salty Dogs, Issac Alexander

June 27: Levelle Davison, Cats & Dogs

“It’s our effort to support the Little Rock music scene, our city’s food truck companies, nonprofits, and to provide fun outdoor activities for families,” said Co-Owner Roby Brock of Red & Blue Events Venue. “After a year of the pandemic and with improving conditions and warmer weather, we wanted to encourage people to return to a sense of normalcy with their entertainment options. We hope that Sunday afternoons and early evenings will give families a great option to return to the community in a safe, fun and relaxed manner.
