SALT LAKE CITYJazz center Hassan Whiteside threw a slam dunk on a Royce O’Neale alley-oop during Utah’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Spurs hosted the Jazz at AT&T Center on Monday, December 27.

With 4:44 left in the first half, O’Neale lobbed a pass high through the air. Whiteside grabbed the ball and threw it through the cylinder with a two-handed dunk.

Whiteside Jam gave Utah a 45-35 lead.

At halftime, the Jazz had a 53-43 advantage.

After the first 24 minutes of play, Whiteside had nine points from 3-4 field goals. He added four rebounds in 10 minutes on the ground.

O’Neale added three points, four rebounds, one assist and two steals in his first 17 minutes on the field.

This season, Whiteside is averaging 7.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.

O’Neale entered the contest averaging 7.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
