A new radio station has arrived in the Quad Cities, and it’s looking for new faces to add to its team.
US 104.9, the “No.1 Quad Cities for the New Country,” debuted for Iowa and Illinois on Friday.
US 104.9 is part of the Townsquare Media Quad Cities station group which includes the Marconi nominated 97X (WXLP), B100 (KBEA), I-Rock 93.5 (KJOC) and ESPN 1170 AM (KBOB).
According to a press release, the station “broadcasts ad-free and plays the new country Quad Cities wants from artists like Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Carrie Underwood and many more.” The new US 104.9 will launch musical missiles every hour for more country music with fewer interruptions.
Townsquare Media Quad Cities Content Director Ryan McCredden said the station, which streams 5,000 songs in a row without interruption, prides itself on providing more music and more opportunities for fans to connect with their artists. favorite.
