In a new six-part series – Nathan Carter’s Country Themes – starting at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday 23 May, featuring BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Sounds, a fermana-based singer-songwriter chooses several themes and combines them. want to play.

From dancing and leadership to faith and family, Nathan plays songs old and new, classic tracks and hidden gems from the world’s best country music performers.

Dancing is the theme of the first episode, so Billie Joe Armstrong will be on the waltz, Brooks & Dunn will be line dancing, Lee Ann Womak, The Chicks and Brad Paisley will all be on the dance floor.
