Jazz Sanctuary to perform at Yardley and Wayne in August, with free concerts throughout the Philadelphia area

The Jazz Sanctuary offers live jazz music performances to audiences in the Greater Philadelphia area.

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, USA, Aug. 1, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Jazz Sanctuary, Philadelphia’s most innovative music organization, will perform free concerts this month at Yardley and Wayne, allowing audiences to suburbs to discover the art of jazz.

The August performance schedule begins Thursday, August 4 with a “Jazz & Joe” night (live music, coffee and sweets) at the Incarnation Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church in Morrisville (1505 Makefield Road, Morrisville, PA 19067). The performance, which begins at 7 p.m., features The Jazz Sanctuary Quintet, including James Dell’Orefice (piano), Leon Jordan Sr. (drums), Randy Sutin (vibration/percussion), Eddie Etkins (saxophone) and Alan Segal (low). ). The concert is free.

On Friday, August 12, the Jazz Sanctuary Quintet will travel to Wayne for another evening of “Jazz & Joe” at Our Lady of the Assumption Church (5 Old Eagle School Road, Wayne, PA 19087). Free concert begins after church services at 8 p.m.

Donations to support Jazz Sanctuary’s mission continue to be essential to the growth of the organization as it enters its second decade. The Jazz Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free jazz music to charities, community centers, and places of worship, among others.

Since its founding in 2011, The Jazz Sanctuary has performed more than 640 live shows in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Additionally, the organization brings its music to healthcare facilities, including regular performances for the Council on Brain Injury and others in the region.

Charitable events in the five county area have served organizations such as Friendship Circle, Cradle of Hope, Ronald McDonald House, Interfaith Hospital Center of the Main Line and Council on Brain Injury and Re-Med golf outing and therapy sessions.
