CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC) – Three-time Country Music Award nominee Chris Janson will perform at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds on Friday, October 22 as part of the popular “After Hours Concerts” series.
Country singer Chase Rice will also perform at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds as part of the same series on Saturday, October 16.
The series, organized by Eventmakers-USA, started at Meadow Event Park in Doswell, but has since spread to locations in the Richmond area.
âAfter Hours concerts have been around for over ten years now,â said Larry Creeger, executive producer of After Hours Concerts.
Creeger added that they had booked Janson and Rice because of their attraction to the area, “We felt that these two shows would be well supported by the community.”
Chris Janson is the last performer announced so far at Chesterfield, but Creeger said they are already planning new dates for next year.
âWe book shows at both Meadow Event Park, which is our primary location,â he said. âAnd we are also considering booking shows for the Chesterfield venue, which is yet to be determined. “
