Blake Shelton made the live debut of his new single, “Come Back As A Country Boy”.
Just a day before the release of Shelton’s latest single, “Come Back As A Country Boy,” the country and Oklahoma superstar first performed the song at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI on the 30th. September. The performance took place on the last weekend of his Friends & Heroes tour.

Co-written by Michael HARDY, Josh Thompson and Jordan Schmidt, “Come back as a country boy”, A song that details the virtues of living the country lifestyle and is the first of several new tracks on the country hitmaker’s next deluxe edition of Body language, released on December 3.
“I think this song is an anthem for the hardworking country people every day,” Shelton noted. “We’re so proud of who we are and what we do that if we ever died and had the chance to relive life, we probably wouldn’t if we couldn’t be a country.”
“Come Back As A Country Boy” is the first new track from the deluxe edition of Body language, which has already resulted in the No. 1 certified Platinum “Happy Anywhere” smash with Gwen Stefani.
Body language Deluxe is scheduled for December 3 and is available for Pre-order now.
Shelton will end “Friends and Heroes 2021” this weekend with shows in Detroit and Milwaukee alongside special guest Lindsay Ell as well as Martina McBride, Tracy Byrd and Trace Adkins. The tour’s recent sold-out stop at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville also included surprise guests Gwen Stefani and country music icon John Anderson.
