2022 Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series New Orleans returns February 5-6

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – New Orleans’ 2022 Rock ‘n’ Roll racing series returns to the Big Easy on Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6. Race weekend kicks off Friday, February 4 with the Health & Fitness Expo at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. Saturday, February 5, race day returns with the 5K and on Sunday, February 6, participants will take on the half marathon and 10K distances, all beginning and ending at the University of New Orleans.

Elite runners from around the world will compete in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series New Orleans, Anne-Marie Blaney (USA), Megan O’Neil (USA) and Maura Tyrrell (USA) in the women’s, and Wilkerson Given (USA ), John Börjesson (SWE) and Mo’ath Alkhawaldeh (JOR), who recently took the overall victory in the 2021 Rock ‘n’ Roll Washington DC Half Marathon, on the men’s side.
